Weekend of skiing

We had a great long weekend...for those who don't live in Alberta, this past weekend was family day weekend, so we went with some friends to Golden to ski at Kicking Horse Resort.  The snow wasn't the powder we were hoping for, but it was gorgeous out, and great to be skiing and snowboarding again. 
The girls skied in the morning while the boys looked after the kids and the girls took the afternoon shift.  We were staying on the hill, so Madison and I took full advantage of the warm sun shining onto our deck.

We went to the pub for dinner where Madison started double fisting limes.

Flopping around

Madison can get around...she can't quite crawl yet...instead she flops herself forward...but I think we're going to have to baby proof things soon!!!

Playing with the boys

My friend Alexis has a boy Reid, who is 6 weeks younger than Madison. We get together all the time and the 2 of them are pretty cute together.

Madison is moving around the floor a lot more lately....she still can't really crawl on her hands and knees yet, but she can definitely move herself forward.  Lately she's been practicing her Yoga moves.  Here's downward dog and upward dog.

Madison is not good at sitting still (surprise surprise)..she's usually moving constantly...bouncing or squirming when you hold her, moving all around on the floor, constantly rolling around in her playpen or jumping in the jolly jumper.  So it's really nice when she gets a little cuddly and just sits and hangs out with us.
