HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Happy Halloween everyone.  This evening we took Madison out trick-or-treating to a few houses in the neighbourhood.

Turning to winter

Just a few pics from the last month...it's quickly turned from sunny and warm to snowy and cold.  We had a beautiful Sept...both Grant and I mountain biked almost every day. Oct has been pretty good too, though a little colder...Grant still has his bike out...hoping that this snow is not really the beginning of winter. Sadly, I put my bike away at the end of Sept as the belly was getting too big, and the trail was getting slick with rain and frost.
Madison is getting cuter by the day...she's talking up a storm..mostly in a language that we don't understand yet...but, her vocabulary is certainly growing as she is saying new words every day.

We got her a bike helmet and she wants to wear it all the time...in the house, in the car...it's pretty cute!

I haven't taken a lot of pictures in the last 2 months....I've been taking more videos.  This is a compilation of videos I've taken since July when Madison started getting interested in walking.

Daily outing

This is one of the many reasons that I love Canmore.  A little video of our daily walk...we feel so lucky to live near so many great trails...accessible basically from our front door....so much more interesting than walking down the street.

  THANK YOU......Yes, those were the first words that Madison said to me this morning.  We have our morning routine....she lets us know that she's awake, I bring her a bottle of milk, she hangs out in her crib for another 20 min and I go back to bed.  This morning when I brought her milk, she clearly said "tank ka" and then gave me a big smile.  It made my day!!!!   In the last few weeks her vocabulary has changed from dada for everything to her own little language...and if you listen carefully you can hear her start to say words.  Her favorite is to say "what's this" as she points to something.  :)

Walking

It's been about 2 weeks since I posted the video of Madison walking to the couch.  I thought I would post an update.  It's amazing how well she's walking in just 2 weeks.

Just another cute video of Madison and Maya.  They were on the deck playing and I was watching them through the living room window.  I love that they can just play by themselves.

The fox name lives on!

Just a quick post to tell you that we went for our 5 month ultra sound this morning....looks like we will be having a boy come January.  We are soooo excited to be having a boy to complete our little family!
