Changes

Every week Madison changes so much.  Last week we went on a trip to the coast.  We wanted to take her to see her relatives, but especially her great grandmother.  Madison's middle name is Mahalah...passed down now for 9 generations to the oldest daughter.  Granny, mum and I are all Mahalah's too.  We wanted to get a picture of 4 generations of Mahalah's.  It was pretty cool to see Granny holding Madi.  94 years old and 2 months old.  A lot of life and wisdom to pass on.

 Also this is the week that she really started to smile.  We can be sooo frustrated or exhausted....and then she smiles and that all melts away.

Last night, as Grant was holding her, she made a new discovery...her fist.  Yes, I think for the first time she realized that her fist belonged to her!  It was pretty funny to see the look on her face.
